About Us

TiqueNervoso was founded by two artists during the COVID-19 pandemic, while we were all still in lockdown and socially distanced… Our goal is to promote communication and bring people closer together through nature and artistic expression, inspired by our own experiences with our animal friends.
Over the years, we have created 10 different models of our tote bags, featuring the stories of some of our animal friends, and more recently we have launched our small ceramic sculptures and illustrations. All our products are inspired by the backyard where Tique was born, the animals that live there, and other important stories that cross our paths. These products are one of the ways we promote and fund our project and our workshops.
Many markets and workshops later, one of us left Portugal to completely turn her life around. The message we share through TiqueNervoso 'bringing people together through art and animals' has also brought the two of us closer together, even though we’re in different countries!
